As a professional bilingual artist, Lily Ye bridges cultures to express visions beyond the restraints of language. Her paintings and stories have been featured in several international magazines and newspapers such as the Oregonian, Phoenix, art.Her, Idaho State Journal, China Media, and the Portland Chinese Times etc. In addition, she serves as a community leader promoting art and supporting creativity globally. With her broad education, working experience in fine arts and medical sciences in both China and US, and intensive international travel experiences, she has an enriched inner world that expresses itself fully in art. She has established her own unique figurative style of Asian women, and held a solo exhibition and numerous group shows locally and internationally in Italy, France, Russia, China, USA, Mongolia, South Korea, and Vietnam. She wants people who see her works to see the perfection of pure beauty and be inspired to seek betterment of the world. By blending history and mythology with her ethnic heritage of southwest China, and the significance of Woman perception, Lily hopes her charming and whimsical paintings will provide conversation for peace and harmony that can transcend societal barriers.
